I heard that if you don't spray your rainbow loom dragons and stuff with armorall, they'll rot. I know that to be true, but I heard somewhere that if you keep dragons/stuff in a closed, dark container, it'll help preserve them. Is this true? Or does it matter where you keep them?

Nah, they won't necessarily rot if you don't use armor all. If you don't use Rainbow Loom brand bands, they dry up and lose their stretch, though. But RL brand tends to last a looong time, even if it might lose stretch. As for storing it in a dark container...I can't say it actually works, because most of my creations are in a box, in a bin, under my bed that I have to pull out in order to access. XD And sadly, they still dry out and stuff.

Oh. Well, same for mine too. I don't store them in a hard-to-get-to place, but I've been looking closely at my older dragons (my typhoomerang, for example) and I see that a lot of the bands are... like... idk how to explain it, but they look like they have little teeny tiny tears in them, like they've been "rotting". I guess you could say they're old...? IDK WHAT TO SAY ABOUT IT. I should try and show a picture xd

Yeah! Exactly what happens with mine! I suggest using something like varnish or sealer, which is what I've started to do, and it seems to work. Or, of course, use the real silicone oil by Rainbow Loom.

That happened to mine! It doesn't always mean that they are rotting, though. Sometimes they are just dried out.

Yeah. Hey, by the way, there's something I've been wondering for quite some time. See, I've been wanting to take the RL dragons I made (ones that i pretend are water dragons) into my pool, but I'm not sure if the chlorine will "kill" 'em. Will it? Or is it safe to make them swim around in my chlorinated pool? Or can they only go in non-chlorinated water?? ?.?
